Where to find a kernel 2.6.31 + aufs-module for my FAI ?

Ubuntu uses the unionfs-fuse package instead of aufs.

Yes, the linux kernel from grml, does not automatically produces the
initrd.

If you use my FAI repository, you can also use the grml kernel and
aufs. Have a look at
