I used this FAI setup, but configured it to use the old syntax of
setup_harddisks. Now it works...:
Partitioning local harddisks using setup_harddisks
setup_harddisks version 0.43fai
WARNING: setup_harddisks is deprecated and will be removed in the future.
WARNING: Please use setup-storage(8) instead.
Probing disks: /dev/sda
Disks found: sdaWarning: extended partition does not start at a
cylinder boundary.
DOS and Linux will interpret the contents differently.
Using config file: /var/lib/fai/config/disk_config/shibidp1
Mapping disk name disk1 to sda
Creating partition table: LC_ALL=C sfdisk -q /dev/sda <
/tmp/fai/partition.sda
Warning: extended partition does not start at a cylinder boundary.
DOS and Linux will interpret the contents differently.
Warning: The partition table looks like it was made
for C/H/S=*/256/56 (instead of 1958/255/63).
For this listing I'll assume that geometry.
Creating file systems:
mke2fs -q -c -j /dev/sda1
mkswap /dev/sda5
Write fstab to /tmp/fai/fstab
Write FAI variables to file /tmp/fai/disk_var.sh
Calling task_mountdisks
It clearly shows some errors. The installation finished perfectly.
So it think this is clearly an error with parted.
Should I move this to the parted list?
