Yes - another often used workaround is logging into the fai logserver 
from withing the nfsroot - but that would need to be repeated after each 
make-fai-nfsroot.

I _believe_ these issues do not exist anymore in the newer FAI versions 
- at least, when trying to reproduce them with newer versions, I didn't 
see them happen anymore.

In case you test it with newer FAI versions, please report it as a 
bug(or, check and reopen an existing bug about that - not sure if and 
which one that would be now).
