Reverse FAI ?

greetings all,

Has anybody done any work on a reverse FAI client ?

1 . image base machine
2. add packages and change config files to setup machine
3. copy ( or package ) these changes and copy them back up to the FAI 
server.

.
4. image as many as you want. :)

P.S.
I am currently working on a python-curses dhcp/host control interface 
anybody want a copy ?
