I forget to add lib/modules/4.15.0-29-generic to the nfsroot.
now final problems ( I think) :
the FAI cannot create /tmp/fai and /target filesystem is read only
I have had this problem when I start the FAI for stretch because old
version of the fai server we have use aufs.
so for kernel 4.9.0-8 we use rootovl
I read the list on this type of problem
pxe command line ( i add newline so it's more clear ) :
------------------------------------------------
kernel Fai/vmlinuz-4.15.0-29-generic
append initrd=Fai/initrd.img-4.15.0-29-generic ip=dhcp root=/dev/nfs
nfsroot=10.91.7.21:/u1/DATA04/Fai/FAI-5.5/nfsroot rootovl
FAI_FLAGS=verbose,sshd,createvt
FAI_CONFIG_SRC=nfs://10.91.7.21/u1/DATA04/Fai/FAI-5.5/config
FAI_CHOIX=UB_18_04 FAI_LANG=FRENCH FAI_ACTION=install ipv6.disable=1
-----------------------------------------------
command mount on the m720s :
10.91.7.21:/u1/DATA04/Fai/FAI-5.5/nfsroot on / type nfs
(ro,relatime,vers=3,rsize=262144,wsize=262144,namlen=255,hard,
nolock,proto=tcp,port=2049,timeo=7,retrans=10,sec=sys,local_lock=all,addr=10.91.7.21)
10.91.7.21:/u1/DATA04/Fai/FAI-5.5/config on /var/lib/fai/config type nfs
(ro,noatime,vers=3,rsize=262144,wsize=262144,
namlen=255,acregmin=1800,acregmax=1800,acdirmin=1800,acdirmax=1800,hard,nolock,proto=tcp,timeo=600,retrans=2,sec=sys,m
ountaddr=10.91.7.21,mountvers=3,mountport=55775,mountproto=udp,local_lock=all,addr=10.91.7.21)
-------------------------------------------
As I said before , work perfectly with kernel 4.9.0-8 ( from fai-setup)
, we have to try with kernel 4.15.0-29 (from ubuntu ) because we have
problem with lenovo M720s
It seem that this kernel work with this hardware , but now nfs is broken.
any ideas ?
