(I realize this is not strictly speaking an FAI issue, but I am hoping
that one you FAI users has a solution.)
We are trying to install the old Debian wheezy on a Dell PE 620 using
FAI. The first step is the PXE boot where the wheezy bootstrap image is
downloaded from our tftp server. The boot image downloads and gets quite
far along. However, about 3 or 4 minutes into the PXE boot we see this
error message and then the boot stops:
dracut Warning: Duplicate address detected for X.X.X.X while doing dhcp.
retrying
dracut Warning: could not boot.
Our PXE config file is this:
default vmlinuz-3.2.0-4-amd64
label vmlinuz-3.2.0-4-amd64
default vmlinuz-3.2.0-4-amd64
serial 0 9600
append aufs ip=dhcp initrd=initrd.img-3.2.0-4-amd64
root=nfs:10.0.225.226:/srv/fai/wheezy-amd64,nfsvers=3 FAI_ACTION=install
FAI_FLAGS=verbose,createvt FAI_SERIAL=9600 HOSTNAME=kerberos-standby
FAI_CONFIG_SRC=nfs://171.65.225.226/srv/fai/config

FAI_PORT=ttyS1
