multiple disk_config files?

Related question: How do people deal with the size of the swap 
partition? I have machines with similar sized hard drives but wildly 
different amounts of ram. I could write a script to output a class name 
based on the amount of ram in a machine but I already have about a dozen 
different config files and I am reluctant to multiply that.
