openssh-server error during client setup

Hi.

I am getting:
dpkg: error processing openssh-server (--configure): openssh-server

and the ssh server is not installed correctly.

When calling dpkg-reconfigure openssh-server manually i get the error:
openssh-server is broken or not fully installed.

any hints to how i could solve this?
