Network interfaces file in NFSROOT

I would like to add a line like the following to /etc/network/interfaces
in the FAI NFSROOT:

iface lo inet loopback
    post-up /opt/sbin/my_script.sh

I've created an nfsroot-hook to add the line (and the script to
/opt/sbin) and that seems to work fine.  However, when the install
client boots, it has a completely different /etc/network/interfaces
file.  Does anyone know how the interfaces file is generated for the
install client?  Thanks.
