New issues with setup storage - disc too small

Such a warning would make a lot of sense, but I can't seem to see it in the file
you attached!? And why is that debug output not in the log file!? 

Now either there is some different version of setup-storage running for
mysterious reasons or the format.log file isn't complete or the most recent one.
I suppose you get dropped into a shell after setup-storage has died. Could you
therefrom inspect whether this is still the patched setup-storage scripts? Why
do you see a warning about an uninitialized value but the log file doesn't
contain it!?
