Hmm, indeed this is/was still broken for the gpt case. Sorry about missing that
bit! I've got a fix ready that will be part of all future experimental releases
and I'll push that for new stable releases as well.

Thanks a lot for your offer, but your disk config was sufficient to reproduce
the problem. Please let me know if you'd like to get the preliminary patch,
despite there being this 0-100% workaround.
