local hard disk boot after installation

The keyword happened to be 'normally'. After some changes it did work

PS:Having set up 'two architecture boot' according to
http://fai-project.org/fai-guide/ar01s09.html#_anchor_id_archcross_xreflabel_archcross_how_to_install_i386_systems_from_an_amd64_system
nfsroot-i386 is set up corretly, though the entries in <HEXIP> file in
tftp are still 'amd64'. Manual change to '486'
in kernel and initrd makes installation flawless. Any idea where did I err?
