Yes. But experimental and production use doesn't match up.

I attached my patches.

grub-install.patch
  -> fixes the "unary expected" error in debian lenny
install_packages
  -> hunk #1: zypper patch
  -> hunk #2: and-patch

I succesfully installed a couple of SuSE Linux Enterprise 11 servers with
zypper. SLES10 (ServicePack2 and upwards) also provides zypper, but this
version has slightly different syntax. This applies mostly to
adding/removing package repositories.

I have no experience with other suse versions.
