System stalls (for 15-30 minutes) during savelog

Weird, the installation is basically done, i.e. I can already read the
message: "The installation took 189s"

But neither tty2 nor tty3 are available, only tty1 with the output from
fai.log (as well as kmesg) and tty4 with syslog output.

Very weird.
