I have generate a stick with these instructions and it boots.

http://faiwiki.informatik.uni-koeln.de/index.php/Fai-cd_from_usb_stick

I add a script that copy the config space from the stick to the
faiserver instead of the simple example I think.

....
cp -ar /var/lib/fai/config $target/srv/fai/
.....

And modify this config for my needs. Now it works fine for me.
A server can be installed from the USB-Stick. This server can generate
a USB-Stick that USB-Stick can install a new Server .....

Should I make any bug report?

regards Andreas
