Hi,
FAI 3.2.5 is avaiable an I tried to install and use it.
Live-initramfs is not part of Etch but available as backport.
"make-fai-nfsroot -r -v" produces some errors:
install_packages: executing chroot .... aptitude -R ....
Unpacking linux-image-2.6.18-6-486

Unless you used the optional flag in lilo,
you may need to re-run your boot loader[lilo]
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-2.6.18-6-486_2.6.18.dfsg.1-18etch3_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
A package failed to install. Trying to recover:
Other error messages caused by dependency problems since linux-image
has status "install ok unpacked" only.
As a consequence any attempt to install servers using this
environment probably will fail, but it should be possible to boot
and mount the (incomplete) ./filesystem.dir/.
The client has two interfaces. eth1 is used for pxe-Boot but the
client tries to mount using eth0.
All relevant options should be part of the config located in
./pxelinux.cfg/ directory:
ip=<client-ip>:<server-ip>:::<client-name>:eth1:off
Is this not correct or are other settings required?
Thanks in advance
