Saving log files

I am using fai version 3.1.8 on debian etch.

Starting with the examples, I currently get a working installed host.
However, at the end, the logfiles are not saved automaticaly.

Failed to add the host to the list of known hosts (/root/.ssh/ 
known_hosts).

How to manualy prepare this file so the host is already in there? Or,  
how to tell fai, it shouldn't use the "short hostname, but the full one?

No I have to manualy enter "yes" several times.
