setup storage can't use % or "G"

Here's the log snippet:

Using config file: /var/lib/fai/config/disk_config/SETUPSTORAGE

Mapping disk name disk1 to sda
setup_harddisks version 0.42fai
Probing disks:  /dev/sda /dev/sdb
Disks found: sda sdb

Using config file: /var/lib/fai/config/disk_config/SETUPSTORAGE
Mapping disk name disk1 to sda
setup_harddisks did not create /var/log/fai/current/disk_var.sh file.
bash: no job control in this shell


It will throw the same error if i change that to a % value as well
