Ctrl-C makes the machine reboot

Hello,

amongst other problems, I have this one:

At the end of the installation, the screen reads: "Press <RETURN> to
reboot, or Ctrl-C to get a shell" (or similar). Unfortunately, when I
press "Ctrl-C", the machine reboots instead, thus depriving me of the
chance to inspect the situation on the client. How can I fix that?

Yes, I know about FAI_FLAGS, but discovered, that fai-chboot doesn't
seem to work as advertised, too (esp. not setting the flags correctly
despite my using -F).

Best,
