package postgresql fail

If i do on console before first reboot 
remove postgresql, import debconf again and aptitude postgresql in chroot 
/tmp/target
initdb is running and postgres is starting (ok thats not so good)

is the fai aptitude install running in the chroot /tmp/target or in nfs 
root?
