It's fine with me, just let's make that very clear and announce here,
on the download poage, and maybe in the wiki at a nappropriate
location, so nobody get's confused, and nobody tries to run the new
versions on sarge,

IIRC we also wanted to start calling versions that don't run on sarge
anymore 3.x, right?
