Problems with nfs mounts.

Well, this is nothing but the bootloader (see http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/
...), so there is nothing to log in to... Most probably there is either no kernel 
package installed, either because
- none is listed in one of the package_config/* files or
- none of the ones listed is installable

/tmp/fai/ on your installclient contains all logs produced during installation,
just change to the second tty and do less /tmp/fai/error.log, or, earlier, less
/tmp/fai/software.log, which will tell you about broken/missing packages.
