Problem using fai with (about) serial console

$ grep -i serial_console /var/lib/fai/nfsroot/i386/boot/config-2.4.26-fai 
CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE=y

proves you wrong me thinks :) 

But in the lines...

I can spot a difference: console=ttyS0,115200n8 vs console=ttyS0,115200 - 
could this be the cause of the problems ? I haven't used serial console very 
much..
