[FAI-KERNELS] - kernel panic, root not found, etx2 is module

Hello, 

I'm new using fai and I have a little problem. 
Perhaps I missed something in the fai_guide.html ?



My client machine is installed using kernel 2.4.27 from fai-kernels
package and simple configuration with SMALL_IDE. 

It fails rebooting because it can't find the root système.


     kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k block-major-3, errno = 2
     VFS: Cannot open root device "hda1" or 03:01
     Please append a correct "root=" boot option
     Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:01


Looking in the building config file, the ext2/3 fs are built as modules
but there is no initrd loading those modules. Is there any option
somewhere to do this. Do I missed something ?
