Using 192MB, everything is fine - I even was able to install another
kernel (2.4.26-1-k7-smp since this is an Athlon box) *and* the
corresponding i2c and lm-sensors packages...

This would still be interesting for smaller machines. Isn't the swap
being used for installation?
