Packages not installed

We had also some strange behaviour with testing. It seems that a long
package list sometimes breaks the installation process. IMHO it a bug
of apt-get or dpkg. A workaround may be to use the variable
MAXPACKAGES. Set it in a class/*.var file (eg class/DEFAULT.var) to a
value like 12. Then, only 12 packages are installed and configured at
a time by apt-get.
