In fai 2.5.1, the variable addpackages must not contain the full name
of a Debian package but only the package name. This changes in 2.4
(look a the file NEWS). Change it to kernel-image-2.4.18-1-k7 and then
scripts/DEFAULT/S01 will do the kernel installation with the command

apt-get install $addpackges
