sh: can not find file or directory /usr/sbin/mouseconfig...

I'm doing a FIXED-IP approach and have managed to get
to the stage where the hardware is being detected.....

just prior to the error described in the subject line I notice
the floppy being active.... and then the screen clears alas....
and the keyboard is stuck....forcing a reset.... anyone see this 
before? the archives...last 800 don't seem to mention it...

the odd thing is when I did this via dhcp it didn't run into this
problem
