Solved: Package Installation Problem

I solved this one:

after numerous tests and reboots i found that it is a feature of apt-get to
stop immediately without verbose notice when one of the arguments it gets is
an unavailble package

as the packaes listed in the package_config files are installed via apt,
installation will fail as soon as there's a package listed which is unavailable.
