it seems this is the best bet anyway, the other options seem to involve
some
more work on the dhcp server itself, and as i imagine it for now, when
doing it this way either the fai server or the client then decides if an
exchange
of boot images takes place for clients that get an ip address from the
dhcp server.

the only problem might be if the nt server has that next server feature, but
it should, i
will check that as soon as i can.
