Hi all,
I boot my install client via PXE. It gets its IP and some other stuff
from the DHCP server and boots the kernel. Now the kernel make DHCP
requests but it does not get any answer. The log-file on the DHCP-server
says
Jan 15 10:36:11 thor dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:06:5b:54:6e:45 via eth0
Jan 15 10:36:11 thor dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.1.2 to
00:06:5b:54:6e:45 via eth0
Jan 15 10:36:15 thor dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:06:5b:54:6e:45 via eth0
Jan 15 10:36:15 thor dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.2.1 to
00:06:5b:54:6e:45 via eth0
and so on
I use the example dhcpd.conf from
/usr/share/doc/fai/example/etc/dhcpd.conf
Any idea ?
Joerg
