Hello,

I'm trying to boot the install client with a 2.4.18 kernel with DHCP.
in  the fai.conf :
# this kernel package will be used when booting the install clients
KERNELPACKAGE=/usr/lib/fai/kernel/kernel-image-2.4.18fai_2.0_i386.deb
where kernel-image-2.4.18fai_2.0_i386.deb is a kernel compiled by my self :
ip : kernel level autoconfiguration = yes
ip : dhcp support = yes
realtek rtl-8139 pci fast ethernet adaptater support = yes
NFS file system support =yes
root file system on NFS = yes

At boot time, my network card (realtek 8139) is detected but no DHCP request
is sent.
Did somebody already do this ? or with a 2.4.x kernel ?
Do I have forgotten an option ?
