The problem is that the workstation doesn't get into the class you've defined.
If you've defined the hostname to be faiclient in dhcpd.conf you could try to
add the following line to /usr/local/share/fai/class/S01alias.sh:

 cat oree

just beneath the line "cat faiclient". That way, all the software classes for
oree gets defined and then you have your machine included in the oree class.
