CAN-2006-0005 - Buffer Overflow im Windows Media Player Plugin

  Im Windows Media Player Plugin laesst sich beim Auswerten des "src"
  Attributs des HTML EMBED Tags ein Buffer Overflow ausloesen. Angreifer
  koennen diese Schwachstelle dazu ausnutzen, beliebigen Code mit den
  Rechten des Benutzers auszufuehren, wenn sie ihn dazu bringen, eine
  entsprechend aufgebaute HTML-Seite zu oeffnen.

  Die Schwachstelle laesst sich nur ausnutzen, wenn das Media Player
  Plugin a) als Default zur Darstellung von Multimedia-Inhalten
  konfiguriert ist b) und ein anderer Browser als Internet Explorer
  verwendet wird (z.B. Mozilla oder Firefox, Opera scheint nicht
  betroffen zu sein).

  Arbeitet der Benutzer mit Administrator-Rechten, kann der Angreifer
  die komplette Kontrolle ueber das System erlangen.
