Who is using the ISC DHCP server in their FAI environment?

Hi Thomas, all,

We're using ISC DHCPD with FAI and are quite happy w/ it, configuring instances of FAI w/ ansible.

It's been some 3.5 - 4 years since I last looked a Kea (the ISC one, not this https://www.doc.govt.nz/nature/native-animals/birds/birds-a-z/kea/ one), given ISC's push to get off DHCPD, and backed away quietly because of the complexity it brings/offers after a day. It will become unavoidable, I guess, unless someone makes the effort to clone and maintain it.
