You must install initramfs-tools .110~ or newer to resolv this
dependencie problem. 

You previous error message 
   "My problem with `/srv/fai/nfsroot/live/filesystem.dir/boot/vmlinuz-'"
says that no kernel (and maybe also no initrd) is available inside the
nfsroot.
