FAI does not nfs mount my mirror

Hi,
I'm using FAI 4.0.8 on wheezy. To speed installation up I want to
nfs-mount my local mirror. I did so in the past using

/etc/fai/fai.conf
FAI_DEBMIRROR=192.168.1.250:/srv/mirror
MNTPOINT=/mnt/mirror

/etc/fai/apt/sources.list
deb file:/mnt/mirror wheezy main contrib non-free

fai-setup -f

Unfortunately installation fails because the NFS directory is not
mounted into the install system. FAI creates the mount-point directory
/mnt/mirror correctly, though.

Am I missing something?

Martin
