Hello,

I still can not partition my HDD as I want. I have done another test with a
new 3TB disk and i still get 1100GB of free space!!

Model: ATA WDC WD30EZRX-00D (scsi)
Disk /dev/sda: 3001GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/4096B
Partition Table: gpt

Number Start End Size File system Name Flags
 8 17.4kB 1066kB 1049kB primary bios_grub
        1066kB 2097kB 1031kB Free Space
 1 2097kB 8592MB 8590MB ext3 primary boot
 2 8592MB 17.2GB 8590MB linux-swap(v1) primary
 3 17.2GB 26.8GB 9664MB ext3 primary
 4 26.8GB 32.2GB 5369MB ext3 primary
 5 32.2GB 38.7GB 6442MB ext3 primary
 6 38.7GB 45.1GB 6442MB ext3 primary
 7 45.1GB 1901GB 1856GB ext3 primary
        1901GB 3001GB 1100GB Free Space

This problem becomes more and more annoying. An explanation of why I always
get 1100GB of free space ??

Thanks in advance,
