hi,

when installing from pxe debian squeeze 32 to a pc with only a usb
mass storage device I get this error:

this system does not have a physical disk 1
Using config file: /var/lib/fai/config/disk_config/FAIBASE

the content of this file is:

# example of new config file for setup-storage
#
# <type> <mountpoint> <size> <fs type> <mount options> <misc options>

disk_config disk1 align-at:64K disklabel:msdos

primary / 150- ext4 rw,errors=remount-ro
primary swap 200-1000 swap rw

The installation aborts.

The disk is a usb stick (4GiB). From the fai shell after aborting I
start parted on /dev/sda and see it is a FAT formatted drive (1
partition).

Is it possible to install debian to a usb mass storage device? We need
to deploy a couple of underpowered tftp servers and this would be a
great option for us.
