mysql-server debconf password

hi,

This is my first post to this list but I have been using FAI for quite
a while, I am a happy user :-)

Anyway, I need to install some servers with mysql-server, and would
like to set the root mysql password from FAI.

I have installed it manually in a test server and grepped the
debconf-get-selections output, but I do not see my password there.
There is a /var/cache/debconf/passwords.dat file, but the field value
is empty.

Is there a way to accomplish this from FAI?
