Add export debug=1 to a suitable class/* file and inspect shell.log to figure
out what exactly is going wrong. For one of them, however, you should just read
the above log messages. dpkg -S install-keymap on a working install will tell
you which package you have to install. For Debian/lenny it is console-common.
