no reply on IRC - not yet asked on mailing list.

Short time helper - ONLY if one uses IPAPPEND2 with PXE:

* remove /usr/share/initramfs-tools/live-premount/select_eth_device from 
nfsroot
* update initrd within chroot
* copy the new  initrd to /srv/tftp/fai... (or run make-fai-nfsroot -k)

then it seems to work.
