This is just to say that the fix described by Jeffrey Stolte (drop
05mountpoints from grml into current squeeze FAI nfsroot) works for me.

In other news,
 * the bug with ipconfig (from libklibc) hanging (debian bts, don't have the
number right now,) is not fixed in sid, but the patch attached to the bug
report applies cleanly to 1.5.19 and does work.

 * make-fai-nfsroot -U finally works again (generates the initrd at least,
except of course the two issues above made it fail.)

 * This is with fai from experimental/koeln (4.0+betawhatever). Migrating
the fai config space from whatever snapshot version we ad before (3.4.x) was
painless.

I'm now using unmodified squeeze 2.6.32-5-686 for installation and 2.6.35
from experimental for running the cleints because my intel graphic chips
have a hardare bug that has a workaround only in the latter.

Probably going into production with this set up. (ca 150 desktop clients.)

cheers
