That file is copied with make-fai-nfsroot into the nfsroot and at
install time into the install client.
(this happens a bit hidden!)

If you want a different sources.list for the install client than in the
nfsroot, you have to copy it explicitly in a hook before the software
install task, and run apt-get update again!
