no cfagent when installing a chroot?

Hi,
When installing a chroot on a VPS server(Etch, fai 3.2.8) with
dirinstall I get this strange error:

cfagent.log:/usr/bin/fai-do-scripts: ./FAIBASE/40-misc:
/usr/sbin/cfagent: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

cfengine2 is installed and the cfagent command available on the main
system, in the nfsroot, and in the chroot after install, too.

Any idea what could be wrong there?
