FAI Install Kernel and SATA disks

I usually install my fai clients with a standard Debian kernel plus ramdisk.  
This was discussed a while back on this list, please ping me if you don't 
find it, I can summarize our procedure if you want.

(The immediate reason was that e1000 fails when compiled in the kernel but 
works ok as modules with certain versions of kernel/chipset/BIOS/phase of 
the moon.  But I've found it reasonable to just take the same kernel during 
install and after.)
