migration from old FAI 2.5.2 : no more Fai.pm ?

I'm going to update my old FAI system from v. 2.5 to Etch one, 3.1.8,
and a previous class defining script, 18disk, was in Perl, using
Debian::Fai module to help determine how many disks the system to
install have, with how much room, etc. I don't find Fai.pm module
anymore, and docs / Google can't tell me why it disappeared and how to
replace it (if there is any replacement)... Do you have any tip about
this ?
