Which kernel are you running? I have built my own one (using the latest
drivers from the Intel site! version 7.3.15 - I think they are not yet
included in the mainstream kernel but didn't check) - using a Woodcrest
system as well (with the Gilgal dual-PT onboard) it works for me.

I may send you my kernel Debian package if that helps... alien is your friend
