don't stop before reboot

Hi!
I've a FAI installation (2.8.4- Debian Sarge) and I've a strange problem: fai 
doesn't wait for my RETURN before reboot; it print "Press <RETURN> to reboot" 
but the process goes on and reboots without RETURN.

why? how can I solve it?
