Hi folks, this stupid bug caused me nearly one day to find the problem. Using NFS v3 for nfsroot does not work when the NFS server is running the Debian kernel 2.6.8. With kernel 2.6.9 on the NFS server side (not sure if this is a native or Debian kernel) you can mount the nfsroot with NFS v3 without any problems. -- regards Thomas
